Hello there, my names alan gibson. I have started this web page to advertise my lands end to john o'groats cycle next june.

History
Well since last october i have been working my ass off to lose weight, since then iv lost about 3 stone and am now sitting just above my ideal weight.
When i started this fitness kick i set myself the task of running a 10k race so on 20th may 2012 I ran the baker hughes 10k. Although i set a slow time of 1 hour I felt 10k just was not enough.
I have now set myself a massive challange to cycle about 1000 miles from lands end to john o'groats over 9-10 days. Before taking up cycling (just last month) I had not ride a bike for years and hated cycling so for me this is massive.
I will be doing this cycle with a friend who will be named soon :-)
